Our new 80,000 ft2 head office is located at 106 Bay St. in Sturgeon Falls, ON. This is close to downtown and some employees take advantage of that to bike or walk to work. We also have free parking and coffee.
Report and communicate with Civil Construction Manager
Responsible for job site organization, safety and performance
Present pre-job instructions and safety meeting
Lead and work with a crew of 2-10 workers and sub-contractors
Read, understand and follow construction drawings, instructions and specifications
Direct, supervise and complete various construction projects as per company plan and methodology
Complete project reports, schedule updates, material inventory, etc.
Type of work varies to road building, laying pipes, civil infrastructure, demolition, landscaping, concrete, paving, site work, etc.
Requirements / Preferred Qualifications
Minimum 5 years experience in construction
Familiar with Microsoft office suite, Outlook, Excel, Project.
Familiar with Trimble and survey tools
Heavy equipment mechanical experience
Willing to participate in labour work
Open minded, ambitious and organized
Minimum G license, AZ Drivers license is an asset
